Don Otis

With over 30 years of experience in the insurance business, Don Otis provides his clients with a wealth of experience and knowledge. His focus is on offering clients the best advice on business insurance, employee benefits, estate planning, and retirement planning. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, he has also obtained the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. Throughout his career, Don has been active in the insurance industry, having served twice on the board of directors of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is also an active member of the state and local chapters of the Independent Insurance Agents of America, the National Association of Health Underwriters, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. At times when he wasn’t providing insurance coverage and financial planning to his clients, Don has been a past volunteer with the Omaha Symphony, American Heart Association, and the Omaha West Rotary Club. He is also active with his church.
Dave Chastain

Dave Chastain literally grew up in the insurance business. The son of Chastain Insurance Agency founder Dick Chastain, Dave has had an active role in the company and the insurance industry since receiving his business degree from the University of Nebraska in 1972. Dave is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). He has served as the President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Omaha and President of the Omaha Chapter of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters. For many years, he also served on the Board of Directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska. Other positions held include President of the Sertoma Club of Omaha; President of Pacific Hills Lutheran Church, where he has been a member since 1959; and numerous regional and national insurance company agent advisory councils.
Sean Chastain

Sean Chastain officially started his career in the insurance industry in 1998 after receiving a Business Management degree from UNO. Sean's experience in the industry actually dates back to birth, as his mom, dad, and grandfather were/are all in the industry. In 2003, Sean earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. Sean has served on the board of the Independent Insurance Agents of Omaha since 2005, taking on the role of President in 08/09 and emphasizing the IIAO's monthly community service projects. Because of his commitment to the insurance industry, Sean won the Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska's Young Agent of the Year Award in 2008. Since 2006, Sean has served as the State Chairman for the Trusted Choice Big "I" National Championship Junior Golf Tournament, the largest junior golf tournament in the country.
Bruce Husted

In 1972, after serving 4 years of active duty with the United States Air Force in Bellevue, NE, Bruce Husted left the service and began his insurance industry career. On July 1, 1984, he joined Chastain Insurance Agency and has since helped numerous Chastain-Otis clients find quality insurance coverage. Bruce is a current member of the Omaha Independent Insurance Agents of Omaha, along with the Omaha Health Underwriters. Community involvements include: membership in the Benson Business Association and Cornhusker Cosmopolitan Club, 37-year membership in the Benson American Legion, and active membership in Leadership Sarpy County Memorial at Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home. Bruce has held numerous offices within the American Legion and Department of Nebraska. He devotes his free time to Military Source One, Special Olympics and Boy Scouts.
Ed Ficenec

Beginning his insurance career in 1977, Ed Ficenec joined Chastain Insurance Agency in 1983 and has been a dedicated independent insurance agent ever since. In 1988, Ed obtained his AAI (Accredited Advisor in Insurance) designation. He then received certification as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) in 2005. Ed has served in various local and international offices of Cosmopolitan International since 1979, on the education committee for CIC, and as Secretary of the Metropolitan Omaha Builders Association (MOBA), achieving life board member status. Other memberships include the Independent Insurance Agents, the Bellevue Club, the Omaha Club, and Downtown Omaha, Inc.
Dustin Kowalewski

Dustin Kowalewski has more than five years of experience as a licensed independent agent presenting customized commercial, personal, life and health insurance plans to clients from all walks of life. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Dustin furthered his education by obtaining the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and the Associate in Insurance Production designations. He is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Omaha and, in his spare time, volunteers for the Nebraska Gamma chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni board.
Mark Stastny

Since 1984, Mark Stastny has been providing life and health insurance to valued customers. After making the move to Chastain-Otis in 1990, he transitioned into property/casualty insurance to help clients protect their homes, cars, and businesses. Because of his dedication to supplying the best insurance coverage to his clients, Mark successfully pursued a Life Underwriting Training Counsel Fellow (LUTCF) designation, through which he learned the essentials of insurance.
Lori Huffman

Lori Huffman’s insurance career includes over 17 years of experience, mostly with commercial lines. In addition to being licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance, Lori is currently working toward achieving a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation so she can further assist her clients in finding the best insurance coverage for their needs. In a true show of commitment to her community, Lori has served as a current member and past treasurer of the Friends of the Omaha (Henry Doorly) Zoo Organization.
Tod Imhoff

Tod Imhoff’s insurance industry experience began more than 40 years ago, when he served as the Life Manager with Employers Mutual Insurance Company. He then brought an abundance of experience and knowledge with him nearly 20 years later, when he joined the Chastain-Otis team of independent insurance agents. Tod has also earned the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation, which helps him counsel his clients on sound insurance decisions and smart investment planning.
